2. Data we collect
- Account data — username, email, password hash, optional profile fields you fill in.
- Content you submit — reviews, photos, claim evidence, venue submissions.
- Usage data — pages visited, search queries (aggregated).
- Location — approximate (IP geolocation) for the 'nearby' feed; precise (GPS) only when you tap 'Use my location'.

3. Why we use it
Running the directory, moderating content, fighting spam, generating localised translations of titles/descriptions via OpenAI, sending you account-related emails.
4. Legal bases
Performance of contract (account, reviews), legitimate interest (moderation, fraud prevention), consent (precise location, marketing emails if any).
5. Sharing
We don't sell your data. Sub-processors: hosting provider, email provider, OpenAI (for translations), MaxMind (IP-to-city). Full list available on request.
6. Retention
Account data: until you delete the account (we then anonymise the row to keep your reviews readable). Logs: 90 days. Claim evidence documents: 24 months after decision.
